About the Branch

Ongole Branch of SIRC of ICAI is formed and inaugurated on 29th January 2014 by SRI CA K Subodh Kumar Agarwal President ICAI in the presence of CA K Raghu the then Vice President of ICAI and CA D Prasanna Kumar Chairman SIRC and is one of the most vibrant branches of Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of ICAI. The Ongole Branch serves as a local chapter of ICAI and provides various services and support to its members, including chartered accountants, and students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course.

The branch conducts programmes both academic and educative including various seminars, workshops, conferences, and other professional development programs to update members with the latest developments in accounting, auditing, taxation, and other relevant areas for the benefit of the Members of the Branch and the society at large. The Branch also undertakes various classes necessary for the students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course such as Orientation, ICITSS and AICITSS and MCS. Since its inception the branch had trained around 2,500 students.

The Ongole Branch also facilitates networking among its members, promotes ethical and professional standards, and acts as a liaison between its members and the ICAI headquarters. It also engages in community service activities and contributes to the growth and development of the accounting profession in the region.
The Ongole Branch is also providing Reading facility to the students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course.
